Republican Chambliss Wins Georgia Runoff: Emphatic Victory Leaves Democrats Without Filibuster-Proof Majority in Senate If they can keep all their Demovotes in line they have their filibuster proof majority because a couple of Republicans will always vote with the Democrats, if only to show that they are the power in the Senate.

This is an important win and we will see it pay off many times in the near future.
Tonight we celebrate!

Awwhhh, come on, can’t Martin make it exciting and pull some more votes out of his trunk?

“tonight we celebrate”
I had to hold my nose when I voted for this RHINO who voted for the bailout and had immigration views similar to McCains. I hope you’re right about it paying off in the future, but in my heart, I happen to think that Saxby will think this was a mandate that he continue to vote and act like a democrat. If I would have had a conservative choice, that’s whom I would have voted for. We need to start NOW to get a REAL conservative out there for the next race.

I had to hold my nose when I voted for this RHINO Conservative change will only come when all of you finally refuse to "hold your nose" while voting for the future of our country... I warned Saxby's office after he voiced "support" of the first amnesty bill, and again after he loaded up at the "earmark" trough earlier this year and then again before his pro bail-out vote, he spit in the face of Georgians and the Country by his votes (60-70% of constituents were against all these actions) and I will never support him again. Yes he will see it as a "mandate" and he and other RHINOs will continue to drag the conservative movement away it's core principles. So stop holding your noses and instead fight for real candidates with "proven" principles.

There are so many RINO GOP Senators, it’s hard to believe that they’d stand together to block legislation.
