"It is early in the proposal process, but this issue will come up again next year if we don't speak up now."
When I first heard that they were gonna try to tax animal stinkers, I couldn't believe it. Then somebody posted that it was Al Gore's idea and I wasn't surprised. No stinker tax!

"Passing gas" tax now unlikely Well, they'll put a tax on that sooner or later.
With Obama in office, what next?

Some years ago this idea was floated by a Kiwi (New Zealand) politician. I was certain that NZ had passed it until a kind NZ FReeper corrected me.
Frankly, this is such a loony idea, I can’t imagine ANYONE in their RIGHT MIND believing that farting cows are a major source of greenhouse gas emissions causing “Glow Bull Warming”!!!
The fact that algore bought into is proof enough of its idiocy. Farmers in America need to make it painfully clear to the political elites where the pricey food they shove down their pieholes comes from.
And I mean BEFORE it gets to the grocery store!!

“What do you do, John?”
“Oh, I’m a fart tax collector.”

Passing gas tax now unlikelyBut will come soon enough with a Democrat heading up the executive branch and the house and senate democrat majorities. Breathing tax will soon follow.

"The fact that algore bought into is proof enough of its idiocy."He should be taxed for the gas coming from his mouth not to mention his bloated backside.
