If it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama was not a citizen, no one in authority is going to risk rioting and chaos to remove him. Nothing at all will be done. Nothing.
As for myself, I'll put my efforts to conservative causes and strategies that do not raise false hopes and have some chance of succeeding. This one isn't it.
I am afraid you are right, though I still hope those in power will act to prevent this going too far.
Trying to put an end to this now may prevent a constitutional crisis, and if worst comes to worst, bloodshed.
It may be a small chance, but its better than nothing.
