I disagree. It had to work it's way up through the courts. And courts are notoriously slow. Timing of the cases also has to do with standing.

People have died for the Constitution. The least I can do as a citizen is honor what they died for.

Nice noble words. But there are other efforts against the constitution that are more crucial and at least have some chance of success. This isn’t one of them.
