Bravo to ckilmer for posting this information! We have two choices in this country: Rule Of Law where the laws of the land apply equally to EVERYONE *OR* you have Rule of Man where the laws of the land apply to some but not to others.
If you want Rule of Man, then you want a dictatorship, a Socialist State, A Fascist State or a Communist State where those in power pick and choose WHO the laws of the land apply to. In a state which is run by the Rule of Man there is one law for those in power (or the super rich) and another set of laws which apply to the “ordinary” people of the land.
It is quite plain that those who support Obama for President couldn’t care less WHAT is written in the SUPREME law of this land - our United States Constitution. These Obama supporters prefer the Rule of Man where “the law” is what some person in authority SAYS it is. With this kind of situation what you end up with is NOT justice, but chaos and civil unrest...a country torn apart from within.
Is that what you Obama supports want? You may very well get it if the Supreme Court allows Obama to KEEP HIDDEN from the people of this nation Obama’s real birth certificate which names the hospital he was born at and the country he was born in.
This is bothersome enough to give some guys a nervous tic.

The McCain campaign didn't have the guts and you know what...if they didn't have the guts to deal with such a mundane issue of eligibility then I am glad McCain didn't win. We need a leader who isn't going to be bullied.

Thank you for posing the obvious question. Everyone needs to think of this. Hawaii's health dept may be screwed up, but I very much doubt that they will change a material fact when lifting information from a certificate to create a certification.
The latter is based on the former.

I’d guess that in such cases the city where the COLB was issued would be the City of record....
It's like applying for, and being hired as, a security guard in a bank. No one would ever imagine that a security guard only applied for the job just to rob the bank.

Hawaii law allows hospitals to purge records after 25 years. It's VERY unlikely that encounters from 1961 exist at any of these hospitals.

My son was born at Queen’s Hospital in Hawaii in 1983. I requested through Vitalchek a duplicate for his passport. I received the short form. HOWEVER, had I directly contacted the Department of Health in Hawaii I could have received a certified copy of his long form. I remember having this years and years ago. It showed date and time of birth, weight, single/twin/trip, first, second, third, doctor’s signature, my signature, etc. These things get lost, but can be retrieved. Obama has not done so.
Simplest answer is because they didn’t know to ask. Second simplest is that the fix is in and they were told not to ask.
