Officials said drug paraphernalia, including syringes, was recovered from the scene of the attacks.
The heavily built men, who had undergone training at a special marine camp established by the Lashkar-e-Taibat (LeT) terrorist group in Pakistan, had also used steroids to build a tougher physique.
"We found injections containing traces of cocaine and LSD left behind by the terrorists and later found drugs in their blood," said one official.
"There was also evidence of steroids, which isn't uncommon in terrorists.
"These men were all toned, suggesting they had been doing some heavy training for the attacks. This explains why they managed to battle the commandos for over 50 hours with no food or sleep."
One terrorist used the drugs to keep on fighting despite suffering a life-threatening injury.

The effects of meth are mainly to elevate the metabolism and create higher physical exertion, not really needed in a last stand.
Cocaine allows alertness with relative calm and metabolizes much slower, they could catch a good buzz for 10-12 hours at a time. And there is a minimal physical crash, coming down from meth causes a lot of cramping, paranoia, and poor decision making. Cocaine is the last stand drug of choice.

Exactly. I had the same question. These folks are already wacked out of their mind and trippin'! Although I remember when I was young and foolish and had a high tolerance for LSD, because sadly I was taking so much of it. I had an interesting thing happen as a result of my high tolerance. Others around me were taking it and of course trippin' heavy, but I--having a high tolerance--experienced only an increased in energy and mental intensity and acuity (atleast from my own subjective point of view.) I felt a sense of power instead of feeling distorted mentally. My energy levels were enhanced and I felt stronger.
I wonder if maybe the terrorist know this too. That with high tolerance LSD can be just one more added shield against reality without messing too intensely with the processing of the brain, but enhancing one's sense of power internally giving them a more distorted sense of grandiosity. Interesting to study or find out why. I am sure our federal government (military psych. folks) know exactly why this is so. I want to know too. :-)
I guess these people are even more emotionally weaker than I thought. They do not believe in their god.

Their MO reads much like William Bell’s and Antonie Ronnie Dixon’s, both of whom were amped on Methamphetamine: cold-blooded, senseless, focused acts of extreme deadly violence.
To me it is a more sensible explanation.

Tough to finish off, if they could breath they would keep fighting. That's why you had to fire "insurance" rounds, and why we took so few prisoners. There are no civilized, humane options with these jihadists.

‘roid rage’ is why they were given steroids and increased muscle mass allows you to carry heavier loads of ordnance into battle.
I suggested that LSD was used the other day. To me, the scizophrenia induced paranoia combined with the cocaine makes sense to give these people the nerve to do this madness.

True, very quickly: but using too much Methamphetamine can keep a user awake and alert for days. This usually happens whent the user has developed a tolerance to the drug, whereby more and more and more is required to get the same buzz.
If you don’t mind dying — as these terrorists obviously didn’t — it’s a great way to keep going nonstop. Needless to say it takes a terrible toll on the body over time.

So far I have been spared that “treat” — PCP is not at all common in New Zealand.

My son is an E.R.Doc and it is one of the things he is afraid of. You do not see it much here either. Makes people think they are invinsible. Including gun shots.
Let’s see, a diet of infidel/Jew hatred 24/7 for their entire miserable lives, Roid-Rage....Meth-tweaking....LSD-tripping. Flick the switch and these sick twisted human debris are amped-up, pissed-off and reality-detached killing machines.
Nuke the entire nest...it’s the only way to be sure.
See my comments regarding what happened to me when I developed high tolerance for LSD. My basic summary regarding my experience and your question is that if they give them a lot so they develop tolerance they can take small amounts with predictable results. Thus this is how your 'measure the dose' for a specific goal which is as you mentioned a stimulant and appetite suppressant.
It also does not metabolize very fast as someone mentioned meth as doing. I never have tried meth though thank God. Just the fun white powder. :-). But that was in the screwed up ole' days--LOL. I get high on life today. Too much cool stuff that comes at us raw. Who needs a shield or an enhancer? :-D
Sometimes we stayed indoors and watched kid’s shows.
Our favorite show was Picture Book Park. A nice lady would read a story and then show the pictures. Totally rocked on Blue Dragon.
I saw a kid beat the crap out of a car, breaking his hands and arms, and just kept on punching with the bloody broken ends of his arms that weren’t yet broken, and he kept on going like he couldn’t feel anything but rage. It was really freaky. PCP is some sick stuff.
They can afford the coke which is a much sweeter ride. Cooking meth in helmets like the Wehrmacht did, is just a primitive and desperate way to keep going.
