Islam teaches that Muslims are unfit for prayer if they have not performed Wudhu after breaking wind or using the toilet.

Who can subscribe to such lunacy? God is offended by the normal function of the digestive system? It's a good idea to wash after using the bathroom on grounds of pure hygiene of course, but why make it a prerequisite for prayer? What does the Qu'uran say about praying while sitting on the john? Blaspmemy? Islam was invented to punish people who love not the truth.

Oh, and how many madrassas and mosques have rooms dedicated to Catholicism, my dear bishops? Wouldn't it be a good idea to take advantage of the fact that some Muslims attend Catholic schools to introduce them to the beauty of Christianity and the merciful love of Jesus, rather than bending over backwards to appease them and confirm them in their misguided beliefs? If they don't like it, they could always leave and go to another school.

Pre-prayer Wudu (ritual cleansing) was not a serious issue for most Muslims in western countries, and many Muslims in the middle east for years. Apparently, the reason this has not come up in the past is the first Wudu can last for the whole day, if one does not do something to defile oneself. As I understand it, in the U.S., the idea of performing a Wudu every time is driven by Somalis, which seems odd, as I doubt they have footbaths located throughout Somalia. Personally, I have never encountered a footbath in a secular location the middle east. I understand they have them outside of Mosques. I have seen Muslims in the middle east praying outdoors no where near a restroom or a footbath.

A friend of mine who attended a Catholic school told be a story about an occurrence at daily Mass one day. He was kneeling in the pew behind a nun who broke wind fairly audibly. Of course my friend starting giggling uncontrollably and was roundly disciplined by the nun.

Two thoughts come to mind:
1) It gave new meaning to the word "pew".
2) If this were a madrassa, and he laughed at a farting imam, he probably would have been decapitated.

So, what is the use of a Catholic School? Aren’t Catholic schools supposed to be Catholic? Why do Muslims families want to send their children there, unless it is to destroy the school from within.

Do parents pay tuition to these Catholic schools, or are they free, or are they government funded in the UK?
