He’s having a Brenda Lee moment.
What the leftists will hear: “I’m sorry about the war. I’m sorry about the invasion. I’m sorry about the economy. I pretty much screwed up everything, didn’t I?”
A possible title for his million-dollar autobiography?
A badly misleading headline.
I wonder how much the whole Bush family is suffering?
Sorry? Is he kidding? Never in Pelosi and Obama’s dreams would a clueless republicans like him come along and hand the whole coutry and economy to them.
And I thought being President means never having to say you’re sorry.
I’m sorry, too.
Not as sorry as we are, Mr. President.
You mean he's whispering Sweet Nothins?
At some point , we just have to admit that George W. Bush was not up to the job. He didn’t have the gray matter necessary.
And still, the boy won’t name names, won’t point fingers at the CRA, at the compassionate conservatism and its bullying of banks that got us here!
Here’s what I want to hear:
“I’m sorry we spent like drunken sailors (even though we had GOP control for 6 out of 8 years) and pushed high risk loans to people who couldn’t afford to pay them.”
“I’m sorry that we overreacted to Enron by signing Sarbanes oxley, which prevented new startups and shipped the financial industry over to London.”
“I’m sorry we didn’t properly secure the border and that we tried to give amnesty to all the illegals.”
“I’m sorry that I called Islam a religion of peace and called for a Palestinian state. I’m sorry that I pressured Israel to give up gaza and called for elections which resulted in a victory for Hamas.”
“Im sorry, too.”
>>>>>>.................
Sorry don’t cover it. My wife observed he’s back to hitting the bottle the last 4 years..let’s hope he was drunk when he named Paulson, did not pardon the border agents, and
opened the biggest raid on the treasury in our history.
Who's sorry now, who's sorry now
Whose heart is achin' for breakin' each vow
Who's sad and blue, who's cryin' too
Just like I cried over you
Right to the end just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way, now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now
Right to the end just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way, now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now
You're a real class act: ad hominem attacks while replying to yourself.
I've had my differences with President Bush, but he was the right person to vote for, considering his opponents.
Don't try and tell me that algore or Jean Francois Kerry have the necessary gray matter.
Nice try. Bush is a Harvard MBA. Jimmy Carter was an Annapolis Grad.
You’re falling for the usual liberal canard that intelligence equates to competent leadership.
