Nice try. Bush is a Harvard MBA. Jimmy Carter was an Annapolis Grad.
You’re falling for the usual liberal canard that intelligence equates to competent leadership.
Someone told Bush that big deficits don’t matter.
Anyone who could read a newspaper knew that people were buying houses with no money down and no credit.
Bush did nothing, nor did any of his well-paid appointees.
He insisted on installing a democracy on people who have no history of democracy. The Iraqis can barely muster a thank you.
Bush is a Harvard MBA for the same reason so many Hollywood actors are Ivy leaguse grads despite having subpar credentials. The schools protect their endowment above all else. Bush is clearly of average intelligence.
I agree there is no equivalence here. Intelligence is a necessary but not sufficient condition for competent leadership. Unfortunately the necessity part ruled out Bush as a competent leader. :)
