...and that’s precisely the type of knee-jerk reaction (on the left) that’s hamstrung this country and its leadership for the last eight years. It’s exactly why an outstanding candidate like Sarah Palin was somehow made into a national laughingstock overnight. If you can judge James Jones that readily on criteria that have nothing to do with his qualifications — if there is no one, in your opinion, who could make a good appointee in this administration, then the situation is truly hopeless for you. You might as well just drink the Kool-Aid.
I just hope that there are enough people who are willing to give the country a chance for the next four years. I hope we haven’t sunk to the level of the Democrats just yet.

Not really that difficult. I do go on News Voyager and onlinenewspapers (foreign newspapers) to read articles about breaking stories (there’s probably a newspaper close to the story). It’s not as grating as listening to the “talking heads” and their bias is not as blatant.

Did you check out Susan Rice’s glances at Hillary during the announcement by Obama. My instincts tell me there is a lot of hate between those two. Susan probably thinks the State job should have gone to her, and Obama had to elevate her UN Ambassador job to Cabinet status to keep her from having to report to Hillary. Let the “Cat fight” begin!

I am not a Barack fan. However, I do try to be a relatively objective participant in the political process. I believe he will make a lot of bad decisions and some good ones. I intend to be supportive of the good ones.

If it was up to me, I would like him to get rid of that little circle on the sign, but since his office is authorized by law and approved by the GSA, I don't think he is conveying a "a false impression of sponsorship or approval by the Government of the United States or by any department, agency, or instrumentality thereof".
Obama is NOT the President-elect until after the Electoral College meet and vote him President-elect. I would think he would have to wait until after December 15th before he gets his “Presidential-Elect” office space!
You may think that, but in fact the law says that the Administrator of General Services can provide the office immediately after the General Election to "such persons as are the apparent successful candidates for the office of the President and Vice President, respectively, as ascertained by the Administrator".
