Over 40 Murders Reported this Week
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico - New details on a deadly discovery across the border from El Paso. This morning police in Ciudad Juarez say at least 12 masked gun men opened fire inside an upscale seafood restaurant and killed at least eight people. The attack comes a day after seven men were found executed in a school soccer field in an upper class neighborhood in Juarez.
In all, 40 murders were reported over the holiday week along the border near El Paso. Police say the men were armed with AK-47 and fired off more than 100 rounds.

In our war against terror, it seems we are totally ignoring the carnage that is happening along the Mexican border. All of this is over drugs. Mexico has lost control and the US is just sitting idly by.

Police say the men were armed with AK-47 ................. Mexican National Army equipment? Doubt it, possible Chavez connection? Could be. He’s building a factory to make them, I don’t think they’ll be for Venezuela’s defense.

Until we play by the same rules as the drug cartels,
they have the advantage in this war.

Friday night CBS evening news was reporting on the war zone that Mexico has become. They said on any given weekend the murders outnumber the deaths in Iraq and this is a country on our border...
Heres the video report from CBS about the threat that is Mexico.
Insecurity In Instability
The Obama Administration will have its work cut out for it in the foreign policy department, but this time its not the usual suspects stirring the pot. Bob Orr has more.

Long ago guys in my Army unit (a medical unit) used to tell me that when they were doing AIT at Fort Sam Houston they used to go to a place just across the border called “Boys’ Town”.Some of the stories they told were pretty scary even back then. This story and my buddies’ stories are just more reasons why I've never set foot in Mexico and never will.

You have two huge drug cartels in Mexico. They have taken over the Columbian drug trade. They have large groups of paid swat teams that are X Mexican Cops. (Hint, drugs pay more.) Those cops were trained at Ft. Benning. So you have lots of drugs, lots of money and lots of professional enforcement. They LIKE to kill by the way.
They now have invaded most major Cities in the U.S. They use the Mexican gange like M-13 to sell their drugs. We have already lost U.S. towns in Texas to these gangs.

It’s been decades since we’ve been to Mexico. Just too dangerous. Some spillage over to this side of the border, which of course is very worrisome.

Oh, I haven’t been there for years. It used to be a wonderful spot. I wonder if it still is.
