I don´t understand how he has gotten this far without the person who´s job it is to check this having checked it yet.

If it is proven that Obama was not born in this country and thus is obliged to relinquish his claim on being elected President, expect there to be massive race riots rivaling of 1968.

I am inclined to believe it´s too late. This should have been done before. We voted. This has the same feel to me as when people tried to claim Bush didn´t win after he did. Should have been done long ago. I don´t see the positive outweighing the negative at this point. Is the social unrest really worth it? Will McCain be worth it? Let´s rebuild our party, and let Obama have his run.

You don't see saving constitutional law as worth it at this late date???? Wow. Why do you think you will have a chance to “rebuild OUR party” if we have no constitution?

Nobody in America understands what it is like to life in a society ruled by men, rather than by law. Unbelievable!

You may be willing to put it to rest but even if there is one person that doesn’t agree with you (and there are many) this will be a huge issue later on. You think it would be bad now just wait. Every action that Obama takes will be challenged, not only by Americans but by other countries as well. It really is a constitutional crisis that needs to be resolved!

Hmmm....

Seems to me, on an issue this big, that person would be President Bush.

He did take an oath to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States", didn't he? Twice, in fact.

But that oath seems to have been superseded by the oath he takes daily in the mirror while shaving: "I promise to do everything I can to make sure liberals all like me after I retire."

How else can you explain his dereliction of duty?

The evidence is not clear, you say. How can he jump the gun and get Justice involved in this, you say.

Well, what about the issue of massive amounts of "internet" donations coming to the Obama campaign from overseas?

Where was the Protector and Defender of the US Constitution on that issue?

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who will liberals love best of all?

"I don´t understand how he has gotten this far without the person who´s job it is to check this having checked it yet."

Uh...yeah. That's what all this is about villagejoe, obviously nobody checked. Where have you been?

"If it is proven that Obama was not born in this country and thus is obliged to relinquish his claim on being elected President, expect there to be massive race riots rivaling of 1968."

Again, you rival the powers of Captian Obvious. Which law would someone have to break, and how serious would it be before you would think it is justifiable to stand up for the United States Constitutional...are or we all just going to do a "Bernard Shaw" and hide under a table?

"I am inclined to believe it´s too late. This should have been done before. We voted. This has the same feel to me as when people tried to claim Bush didn´t win after he did."

You're right, it's the "same feel". Democrats broke the law in 2000 trying to cheat on the elections, and democrats are breaking the law if they let obama assume the Presidency without getting proof he is a natural born citizen. It's all about democrats breaking laws...even the 2008 election is in question because of that same reason.

"Should have been done long ago."

Duhh...yes. Again, that is the point of the inquiries and lawsuits that are emerging daily.

"I don´t see the positive outweighing the negative at this point."

So, the total violation to the Constitution of possibly having a foreign born, marxist becoming our President is not negative to you? If we excuse him, we've got to let Chavez or Putin run next time. Don't you get it?

"Is the social unrest really worth it?"

Yes, it will, and I'll tell you why. If we back down and let obama break the law because we're afriad of "social unrest", then we have just become the great american chickens. I'm starting to suspect that you are already one.

"Will McCain be worth it?"

McCain will not take over if they find obama inelligible...find a new scare tactic.

"Let´s rebuild our party, and let Obama have his run."

I knew the last one would make be totally puke, and it did. "Let Obama have his run."? Are you one of those libs who thinks it's "his turn"? BArf again.

It's very obvious from your post that you stand to the center left; roll over and give in...what kind of talk is that? Let widdle obammy have his widdle wun?

If this is aloud by the citizens of the United States, then we might as well burn the Constitution. If we stand back and let obama illegally rule, what else will we grant permission to. If we don't have rule of law then we have anarcary. When truth no longer matters, we are lost as a nation. This must be investigated and if it means a civil war, so be it. Fear should not be the cause to not do the right thing. If the O-zombies want to riot...and they do, because of the truth and rule of law, they are terminally stupid.

Let’s not. Let’s fight them here and now as they try to steal a race Norm Coleman won. Leo blamed both parties fro arrogance in this matter which includes RINO Republicans. I think these cases are good because if SCOTUS has the guts it will show the citizens still control the country.

If SCOTUS punts then we are all serfs which includes the children and grandchildren of SCOTUS Justices.

"This should have been done before. We voted."

It's not official until the electoral college votes. There are various court challenges that still need to be satisfied, including that of Alan Keyes in California for that state's electoral votes.

If Obama is qualified, then great. Let's move on. Otherwise, it is worth fighting a fraudulent election to uphold the Constitution as the cost of not fighting is much greater. Many of us have sworn an oath to do exactly that.

I prefer to live with the truth in the light of day even if that means, as it has so many times before, a difficult struggle to finally get there. To do less is to discount and ignore the lives that have been lost for us to be able to live as we do guided and governed by our Constitution.

What! Either the Constitution is the law of the land or it isn’t. Without the Constitution there is no “We the People”. We become a ruled society. In the eyes of the Founders, periodic social unrest was good and necessary to circumvent just this type of slide from democracy. I’m not going to waste an ounce of sweat trying to “rebuild the party” if there is no founding document to base it upon. That would be a monumental waste of time!

There doesn't seem to be any such person or office.

A presidential candidate's birthplace is usually very easy to determine, which is why this issue has never arisen before.

In our age of media saturation, it's simply amazing that the media has been able to keep a lid on the issue for so long.

As long as we have a nation of idiots like yourself, then no, it’s not worth it. People like you deserve this. I am almost fed up with this country.

Mccain has NOTHING to do with this. I would expect biden to be the prez in the event obama is dissallowed.
