At least five terrorist gunmen have evaded capture in Mumbai and could make a secondary strike on India's financial capital, it was feared this morning.
Indian security forces are officially claiming that just ten militants – nine of whom were killed and one caught alive – were behind a co-ordinated terror attack that claimed nearly 200 lives.
However, the hijacked Indian fishing boat used by the gunmen to approach Mumbai, the crew of which were also slaughtered, had equipment for 15 men on board when it was discovered adrift off the city shore – suggesting that several gunmen could still be at large.
"Fifteen jackets were found, 15 toothbrushes even," one police source said. "That more men were involved is possible."

Well they may also be among the dead. Especially if they were near a grenade going off or badly burned in the fire.
The incompetence of the Nanny Government to protect ‘citizens’ is on display. India needs their own 9/11 Commision to sort out (coverup) these failures.
My bet is there are 20-30 operatives from this mission still embedded in Bombay and may be waiting for phase 2 in the next week.
I think there is lots more than 5 still out there,,,(15-20).

Per the suspect they captured, (IIRC) the operation was intended to kill upwards of 5,000.
The combined occupancy of the buildings attacked last week would be a stretch to be near that number.
I would wonder whether there are other targets in the works. Several of those terrorists killed had brought some food, so they intended to stay a while.
I gotta believe that one captured dude is dreaming he was at Gitmo right now.

I was hoping you could provide some personal reports. I don’t mean go out investigating and putting yourself at risk. I was just wondering what you’ve heard and what the attitude of those around you are.
I would imagine he has some information about that and that they are keeping it quiet.
The little weenie declared he wanted to live, but then later it was reported he wanted to die.
Hopefully it was because of the light shining in his eyes while he was being questioning and spilling his guts.

Ten seems a little light to pull all that off, but then, a hundred seems unlikely to thwart the whole Indian security apparatus for three days too.
I just don’t know. Wait an watch is the best I have.
