So, the media reports on it - inaccurately. A certificate of live birth is not a vault copy. Show the real (vault copy) certificate proving that he was born in the US and everyone will shut up.

I was "paranoid" about John Kerry's records too and we still haven't seen them. The liberal press vents the same kind of high-toned fictional swill about his "swiftboating." Really, it matters NOT that most of the people advocating that Obama prove he is qualified would prefer he were not holding the cardboard-announced Office of the President-Elect. It could be John McCain. It could be Bush. Every candidate needs to prove s/he is eligible to be President. There are only two qualifications.
And let’s face it: the opposition is there to keep an eye on the other side, making sure things are above board. Doesn’t “Ofari” understand that if this were 2000 and George Bush’s birth certificate were in question, that Ofari would not have written the same article in Bush’s defense?
What document did the Hawaii officials release? IIRC, they specifically said they could *not* release any birth documents, for anyone.
I suspect the author means the low resolution scan of a document, and equally poor photos of such a document, released on daily KOS, fight the smears, and factcheck.org, with the latter posting the photos.
