WASHINGTON - It is a simple transfer of immense power.
On Jan. 20, an unobtrusive military officer carrying a small leather-bound metal briefcase will follow President George W. Bush up to Capitol Hill. After the inauguration ceremony, he will accompany President Barack Obama back to the White House.
Inside the attaché, known as "the football," are the codes to identify and authenticate a presidential order that could launch nuclear weapons and ignite a global holocaust.
Routine to us, perhaps astonishing to much of the world, this peaceful passing of "the football" will propel Obama into a maelstrom. What awaits the new commander in chief is the weighty responsibility of defending the United States - and a nasty brew of nuclear weapons problems that range from the threat of terrorist attacks to potential new regional and superpower arms races. Iran and North Korea are rushing headlong toward building nuclear arsenals. And the main arms reduction treaty with Russia expires next year.

The chosen one will announce the day after he is elevated to his affirmative action job that, in an effort to promote the global peace and harmony he promised, he has destroyed all the launch codes and rendered the nukes un launchable. The chosen one will then ask if other countries would do the same and invited all world leaders over to the white house for chicken and waffles.

Perfect reaction to the headline... my thoughts exactly.
It will be the day that the US nuclear arsenal will be handed over to a Muslim foreigner, unless Obama will have confirmed by that time that he is a natural born US citizen.
What is most disturbing of it all is that the American public and Congressmen do not care that this potentially disasterous event will take place.
No one can convince me that there are no politicians, and this includes the present POTUS, who know the exact truth of the matter of his citizenship. Their silence is a disservice to this country and a violation of the oath they swore to protect and defend the Constitution.
Actually, the launch code is on a small card carried by the President; VP, SecDef, etc. The football contains the SIOP or Single Integrated Operational Plan that provides options for a variety potential threats or actions.

Supposedly, South carolina election commission is demanding proof ..this according to Donofrio.
Obama couldn’t be trusted to use them in defense. He would likely let a first strike go without retaliation.
Demand from Dean of the DNC or Pelosi who issued an authorization of Obama’s fitness to run?
