Yeah, technically Obama falls under the previous law about the citizen mother spending 5 years after her 14th birthday and before the birth of her child in the US, but with Obama being born to a teenage mother, it would literally be impossible to fulfill this requirement.

You're overlooking the fact that it's only a law, and the 'natural born citizen' requirement is part of the Constitution, and whatever is meant by it there, takes precedence. To put it another way--what if Congress passed a law defining 'natural-born citizen' as 'anyone who's been naturalized. Would you cheerfully agree that Arnold Schwartezenegger could now run for President?
