Blacks who voted for Barry in hopes that he would be their sugar daddy will definitely turn on him, once he fails to deliver, but I don't think that will drive that type into the GOP. The victicrats will likely shift even more left.
But, blacks who voted for Obama for other reasons (of which I cannot for the life of me fathom), might actually give our side a look, once Barry disappoints them.
Or maybe blind pride. A tragic illustration of why it's among the seven deadly sins. On a humble note, good to keep in mind when battling one's own pride, I suppose.

Some old men and some old women just aren’t the pushovers that punks tend to expect and some are just plain bad. Many years ago a little old man tottered into the city county complex a few miles from my home and strolled up to a desk and shot a police officer dead where he sat. It seems the old guy was very upset about something the officer had done regarding one of his friends or relatives. I don’t remember all the details now but a young policeman lost his life to a very old man who gave him no warning of what was on his mind until it was too late.
A friend told me a story along about the same time concerning a man who was in jail charged with assaulting a young girl when supposedly a man of around seventy five came in and tried to bail the suspect out of jail. He claimed that the officials in charge became suspicious and a little checking revealed that the man trying to bail out the suspect was in fact an uncle of the victim. I am not certain if that one is true but it very well might be, I can visualize the old man waiting outside until the suspect came out so he could save the state the cost of a trial.

I agree. BHO got the Black vote because most Blacks were enamored of the concept that a Black could be elected POTUS.
No, he got the black vote because the vast majority of blacks have been convinced by the hard left over the last 50 years that the Democrats are their 'friends' and Republicans are pure evil. Obama may have added a few percent to black turnout, but the percentage of blacks voting for the Democrat would not have been much different even if Sheets Byrd were the nominee. The vast majority of blacks could never conceive of voting for any Republican.
Republicans will never get a respectable percent of black votes until they figure a way to destroy the false stereotypes blacks have of them.
Another poster commented that sometimes he feels like the only person on a train who can clearly see that the bridge is washed out up ahead, and is screaming to his fellow passengers, "do something, quick!", but they're all ignoring him.
It's sort of how I feel about blacks voting so overwhelmingly for Obama. Every single member of my family voted for Obama, except for yours truly, and all throughout the campaign, I was saying, "the bridge is out!"
I read a story of one old lady who shot her granddaughter's two rapists right in the groin, went to the police station, handed over her gun and said, "Those two will never rape anyone again, by God."
I think we're going to see more and more of the world of Mad Max in the coming years, and it wouldn't surprise me if the geriatric set is the first to decide they've had enough. I'm not saying it's right, just very possible.

Have you seen the trailer for Clint Eastwood's new film, Gran Torino, yet? There's more than a whiff of what you describe in that script. It opens later this month, IIRC.
Then,, having done that, they would no longer need guns themselves,, right? I mean,, once they solved the gun problem by passing common sense gun laws, all of our police, FBI and even the Secret Service could disarm since there would no longer be any crime.
Why would they need their guns? Why? You see,, this is key,, this is not a foolish question,,, if they say they will stop crime by disarming Americans than they should disarm themselves as well. If not,, then neither will we be disarmed! They are not better than us! Their lives are not worth more than ours!
But of course,, we know the whole thing is a scheme anyway,, just a Marxist prop,, politicians are not better than the rest of us. They are not royalty,, they are not monarchs,, their blood is not purer than ours. We will not be disarmed!
Perfect! I have thought the same! They should also wear little buttons that say "I am unarmed."
