I take it’s still okay if they sexually abuse little boys?

They'll know what it means to be really scared when they finally give an accounting to God for their negligence. That's the problem. They have no fear of God, period! A God of whom no one fears is a God of whom no one thinks.

But cowardly, unfaithful, and detestable people, murderers, sexual sinners, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselves in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." Revelation 21:8
Not teaching this from the pulpit is not doing anyone any favors. I guess teachings on the Wrath of God isn't politically correct.

Coming soon to the US, no doubt. I hear Canada is ahead of us on that front, too. Curiously, does the UK ask Muslims not to offend or speak against gay worshippers? I don't imagine many gay worshippers worship openly in Mosques, but... Is this 'standard' applied to all faiths?
'homophobic content of the Catholic Catechism' and by Pope Benedict XVI's opposition to gay marriage. The advice was criticised by Lynette Burrows, a Catholic commentator, as 'pitiful'.
Homophobic content? Good grief. Pitiful is right - but it's Ms Burrows comments that are pitiful. Still, aren't we already seeing this in places like California where Maria Shriver proudly announced that she is a cafeteria Catholic (and doing it as though she and others were making smart choices from within the array of Catholic buffet items...) and where Arnold supported gay marriage efforts and Pelosi calls herself a faithful Catholic?

I guess the floors of Hell are really paved with the skulls of bishops. I pray I never get to witness this firsthand...

I agree with your instincts on this. Has there been any additional clarity shed on this since your post?

You’re afraid of the baby killers, too? By all means, use the tagline - don’t keep yourself in the closet. As they say, the first step in the healing process is to admit and confront your fears!

If the Bishop is not queer, then he is certainly concerned about the loss of queer revenue.
