Er, it WAS Friday morning. Yes, the store opened at 5AM, Friday. The worker died at the hospital one hour later at 6AM, also Friday morning.

I think the point Tax-Chick was trying to make was yelling "I've been in line since Friday morning" makes no sense since this happened Friday morning. They were either misquoted or stupid. Given what happened in this story, I think we all know the answer to that. Although, trying to determine if reporters are more stupid than these shoppers is a tough one.
