Your opinion is how I see things also. 2000 proved that the Court... when pushed to the limit... will decide matters highly political. We have a better Court today than we did then. I am praying overtime.

Good point. The SCOTUS decided in the way that they did precisely because what the FL Supreme Court was trying to do was clearly unconstitutional.
As far as US Military helos attacking US citizens - that is not going to happen. The military is required to follow the command of the CinC, but not when he is asking them to do something that is illegal or contrary to the Constitution of the United States.
