Good point. The SCOTUS decided in the way that they did precisely because what the FL Supreme Court was trying to do was clearly unconstitutional.
As far as US Military helos attacking US citizens - that is not going to happen. The military is required to follow the command of the CinC, but not when he is asking them to do something that is illegal or contrary to the Constitution of the United States.

I agree 100%... if they did... they would find themselves as the President would... in the middle of a Military coup... to restore Constitutional rule. Our guys fight for freedom and will refuse to fight for dictatorship.
