Sorry but there already ARE Firearms Owners Identification Cards in Illinois. We KNOW that the sheeple there drank the Koolaid as will 80% of the nation if they think this is all Obama Inc wants in the form of gun control. I don't like it any better than you but as I stated FOIC's are already in at least one state.
