Been on Twitter and someone explained that the Taj is like a maze inside. This is the second crew to storm in.....and the terrorists had blueprints of the Taj beforehand. They may know the layout better than the Commandos. I would imagine it’s ‘needle in haystack’ stuff right now. JMO.
Its been 3 days there is no excuse for this incompetent swat work.
Coverage has been limited due to military requests....but ‘netizens’ are still on site texting. One was just shot in the leg.

news blackout this afternoon because the terrorist might be monitoring the feeds from Blackberry
I bet you were a fan of the cops standing around outside Columbine eating doughnuts and coffee, too.
I suppose you believe you could do better in the HUGE complex that is this hotel?
I’m getting the general consensus is that the politicans are not very well liked by the folks over in India. The forces should be better equipped in handling these situations. After all, it’s not the first time.
not incompetent — you have 800 odd rooms to cleanse.
They can secure one floor at a time its not rocket surgery!
More than likely the whole complex is loaded with explosives
rocket surgery?
The authorities in India need the Muslim Messiah-elect to talk to the terrorists. According to his campaign rhetoric, he can cure all ills in the world by his mere presence and BS. He could prove himself in India or perhaps send Pelosi and Reid, the other two God’s in the US Congress.
With these elitists in power, the American people better bend over and kiss their rear ends goodbye. Our enemies are laughing and plotting.
true, and that’s what they are doing, but it takes time to go through 800 rooms in a Victorian era designed building.

ISLAMIC militants who attacked India’s economic capital Mumbai had pre-stocked weapons and explosives inside one of the hotels they targeted, according to Indian intelligence sources.
The Intelligence Bureau, India’s domestic spy agency, said it had detained a Muslim militant, Abu Islami, found to have checked into the five-star Oberoi/Trident hotel four days before the rest of the attackers landed in Mumbai by boat.
“He used the room to store explosives” including 40 hand grenades “and weapons for a prolonged operation”, a top Intelligence Bureau official told AFP on condition he not be named.
“We are asking him who supplied the weapons, the explosives, the Chinese-made grenades. He came in much before the main body of the terrorists landed by boat” on Wednesday evening, he said.
At least 150 people have died so far and more than 350 others have been injured in the attacks in Mumbai.
The Intelligence Bureau also said credit cards and one identity card from the Indian Ocean nation of Mauritius were recovered from the militant’s room.

There is unfortunately no easy answer.
Worse yet, the Indian commandos or SWAT teams going thru the building likely haven’t had much experience in this sort of thing. They’re learning it all in a very sad and bloody way.
God knows how many other towelheads are holed up in different parts of the hotel, just waiting for the opportunity to take some more people with them to an early grave.
Sounds like a mess then.
Having spent many nights at the Taj in Mumbai..I can attest to the fact that it is a maze inside. The old wing, new wing, shopping arcade, bars, resturants etc. It is ideal for defense and difficult to mop up.
Hostages make it worse. The employees can help, but these guys had a chance to pick their positions before hand.
It will take a lot of troops..just closing in and communicating to avoid friendly fire.
You care to volunteer to stroll through, floor by floor, and store by store, just to let them know where the “hot spots” might be?
Last rumor is that there were 4....as opposed to earlier reports of 1. No telling how many innocents are still in the hotel. :(
