Then I guess that makes an assault rifle a heavy machine gun.
Seriously, this operation is going to be studied by every military in the world. A bunch o’ guys in zodiacs. Imagine the havoc a few seal teams could cause.
Imagine the havoc a few well trained sniper teams could cause here... fire and maneuver, fire and maneuver. Have you’re sites planned in advance, get out before the heat comes down.
They are ramping up. We are screwed.

This was done by a couple of amatuers a few years ago in the DC area. I thought that they were pretty effective in creating a bad atmosphere for that area.
Some of the “kids” playing America’s Army (US Army sponsored simulator) or Call of Duty 4 can plan (and execute, in the virtual world) ops at least as well as some actual lieutenants and captains. (Which is why recruiting numbers and quality have been up lately, at least in part.)
I’ve had some actual military officers, current, reserve and retired sit in and watch some of these sessions, and they’re astonished by the tactical competence of some of these kids. One Bronze Medal holder told me that if we’d had kids like these in Vietnam for recruits, the VC and NVA would never have been as successful as they were.
Professional military aren’t going to be the only ones studying this.
