I found that to be the case, Sherman. Public drunkenness was a real problem I witnessed. It wasn’t reserved for just the weekends or evenings either. I lived in a lovely market town. The pubs in the town center were granted permission to play loud music to attract the younger people. It soon got way out of hand. I avoided going through the square....even on a Wednesday afternoon.

I would have to take an early bus into work and unlock the shop where I worked. Vomit would be all over the sidewalks and near the rubbish bins. Nice way to be greeted on a morning.

Thanks. That happens here too.

But it’s pretty limited by locale.

You do need to watch where you walk on Bourbon Street.
