Have just rung the ward and dad is sleeping he is exhausted and hopefully a good night’s rest will bode well for continued improvement but with the chest infection obviously caution is still needed.

The nostril and nose is sore from the tubes and oxygen face mask but they gave him some pain relief for this and his back after turning him just now and he is now peaceful and asleep.
