Flashbacks to the 1993 MTV ball, with Kurt Loder introducing Natalie Merchant singing “These are the Days.” Has it been 15 years already? Nice to see (No)Music TV hasn’t changed in that regard.

MTV lost its appeal about 20 years ago. It was okay when it actually showed videos. Now it’s nothing but T and A.

Doesn’t surprise me...it was the MTV generation and the church of Oprah that voted Obama in...

Sure, the “Get Out The Vote” campaign wasn't a Democratic Organization/barf
And the Media isn't’ t bias either. /sarc.
I'm just glad that it was McCain's campaign that lost because of McCain-Feingold reform and not a real conservative.

Last time I watch MTV on a regular basis, Kevin Seal and Adam “Sominex” Curry were VJs.

FreeRepublic Had one for Bush! And for his reelection. Mike Huckabee’s band played for both.I attended both! I think we attended 9 all together. Counting the Official Ball. So this cult of personality will have 20 or so balls I bet.

Alan Hunter was such a dork. Mark Goodman looked like Juan Epstein's older brother. JJ Jackson always looked like he was "too old for this s--t." Nina Blackwood looked like the type of chick left over at closing time.
Only Martha Quinn came across as both earnest and attractive.
