I think the American people seem to have to have a good, big dose of liberalism every so often just to remind them of how asinine the liberals are when in control (example: Carter, and to some extent Clinton, before the Republican Congress came in and throttled his big liberal plans two years into his term). Of course, Obama was the media’s big Affirmative Action project.

You know, you guys are feeling Obama now, tell me, does it feel 'different' to Clinton, and if anyone remembers, Carter?

Not sure if I'm being a touch paranoid about Obama, but I get really strange vibes from him, and not just about his obvious lack of substance.
Maybe it's the whole first black President thing (which doesn't bother me personally) that has been constantly pushed down our throats here in Europe.
