Russian analyst predicts decline and breakup of U.S.
RIA Novosti ^ | 11/24/2008 | RIA Novosti

"By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

...

"It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving."

...

"Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."

...

"Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. ... whole cities will be left without work ... by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles ... vulnerable political setup ... lack of unified national laws ... divisions among the elite"

...

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all."

...

"In 2006 a secret agreement was reached between Canada, Mexico and the U.S. on a common Amero currency as a new monetary unit."

...

"We [Russia] must break the strings tying us to the financial Titanic, which in my view will soon sink."

Hmmm. I do remember reading something somewhere regarding “all enemies, foreign and domestic” now what was that? I know it's here somewhere...

Null and void my friend. The ruling class has allowed millions of illegals to overrun our borders. These illegals are now openly calling for the formation of Aztland. Just visit any La Raza meeting to find them. When the feds start prosecuting the Aztland promoters, our citizens might start taking the USA seriously again. And why should we still consider the USA to be an independent nation if the Feds are promoting the NAU. Already have the currency lined up apparently (Amero).

The democrats are completely in control now true, but that means they will take all the blame for everything that goes wrong, and believe me, there will be a LOT going wrong.

vulnerable political setup

It's only the world's longest surviving Republic. No empirical evidence there to point out that he's just wrong.

lack of unified national laws

This moron clearly hasn't noticed that the Federal Government runs EVERYTHING, down to the type of fuel I can put in my lawn mower.

divisions among the elite

He's right about that.

The only problem with that prediction is that the Coasts rely on the producers in the rest of the country for their tax dollars. As my buddy always says "All them ticks and no dog? Ain't never gonna happen".

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all."

Go ahead - Make My Day. You'd have every heavily armed redneck on the North American continent up there within a week, pissed off and ready to push you right back into the Bering Sea.

If it breaks up, I’m heading south.

And then we'll help the Yankees pack up and move to their part of the country. Amen.

Russis has their own problems. The ruble will soon be worth a lot less and they are spending 200 billion/year to prop it up. They can’t borrow money since they invaded Georgia. Their economy is based mostly on oil, which is tanking... should I go on?

“So did the Soviet analysts in the late 60’s who underestimated the flexibility of American society. “

Exactly. We'll be fine over the long haul. The problem right now is that our elected officials keep pulling the scab off before the economy can heal it's own wound.

“I hope somehow Obama, the Kenyan, gets dumped and McCain is selected by the electors or the House. We’ll need a military guy in charge to hold the US together.”

Wake up - time to quit hoping - aint gonna happen. Time for you to be ready to force our own change. This is the problem we hope and wish for something to happen yet we refuse to be the agent of change. Time for everyone to be ready when the SHTF - prepare and youll be ready.

“People are willing to abandon capitalism and start trying socialist policies and systems.”

Quite frankly, I don’t believe most of the obamabots have a clue what capitalism is. When their ipods stop working and they need to goosestep down to the shelter for their daily ration of beans, they might get a clue.

Rural America needs to stop supplying cities with natural resources. That will be the first clue that chickens aren’t grown in grocery stores and ZigZag papers aren’t produced by hippies in aisle four.

About $3 trillion of the $10 trillion national debt comes from the entitlement programs, which will continue to grow the national debt. About half of the annual federal budget is spent on the entitlement programs and servicing the debt. I don’t care who is President, the national debt will continue to grow. And these bailouts will hasten the process. We have been living beyond our means for decades and the chickens are coming home to roost.

The Russian Army is a joke. Just like this video;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOaGgY2yUHw&feature=related
It looks nice, but as an army, it just doesn’t work well, and has to accept horrible losses even to defend it’s homeland. Foreign campaigns are usually disasters.
More likely we will buy Siberia some day, or China will take it.

Something is going to have to be done, the USA cannot continue to accumulate debt at this rate for ever, or even for another decade. The argument then turns on how to slow down and ultimately reverse that growing debt. It can physically be done, but its not going to be quick and it will be painful. It remains to be seen if Americans have enough character to put up with tightening their belts to the extent that is neccesary. I say remains to be seen, because there is now a generation that effectively have never known want. How will they react when politicans say “no, you cannot have that because you, and more especially the country, cannot afford it”? Will they even be able to understand that concept? The Obamabots most certainly won’t appreciate it. With their man in, they are looking forward to a larger slice of the cake. What happens when President Barack Obama doesn’t deliver?
