Have you ever wondered how capitalism was pushed over the edge of the cliff just six weeks before the American presidential election?
According to financial experts, the world, as we know it will change dramatically by the year 2012. People, who provided for their families only three years ago, will be desperately searching for food.
The story of the economic meltdown of 2008 begins and ends with the United Nations and its carefully managed One World Order.

yeah....
I despise Soros with every fiber of my body, however this piece feels a bit too John Birch-ish for me to take credibly.
I beat the “Tin Foil Hatters”!
These two need to go away soon. Look at the Damage Soros has done to this nation and Great Britain. Ungrateful SOB.
please...nobody forced all these institutions to make bad loans. HOWEVER I have always questioned the timing of all this.
I firmly believe the Rats knew this was coming down and promised no jail time to the big execs if they kept cooking the books up until the election.
It does to me too.
It does to me too.
I’ve heard it said that civilization is a delicate thing. And I fear we’re about to find out.
...How about apocalyptic? A BIGOVERNMENT LIE AND A BIGOVERNMENT ILLUSION. The next step to panic, and riots in the streets of the world??? I hope not, but, I’m a pessimist...
Pure Evil.
Look at Venezuela. They started with bail-outs and handing out money to the people. Then as things got worse they had less to give the people. They began nationalizing everything. Took control of the TV media and Radio. Now people who worked for the oil companies are now growin food on the grounds and there isn’t any food on the shelves for people to buy even if they had money. Every election he throws out the crumbs. And of course he gets re-elected with the help of fraud.
The more he handed out the more dependent people became. You work for the government or you starve.
In the US they are buying up all the different companies, banks, car mfg., mortgages, etc. Technically “We the people” own it all but just try and access it.
Soros has been trying to take control since 2000 and he has finally done it.
Let me preface this by saying that I am against these bailouts philosophically.
The government doesn’t have stakes in these companies other than AIG. In AIG it is non-voting preferred stock that pays big interest to the federal government. It was designed this way to give big incentives to AIG to buy back the Fed’s stake as quickly as possible.
The U.S. government has bailed out financial institutions before. I’m not saying I like them or agree with it, but it is quite a stretch to compare the United States to Venezuela.
Some of which claimed to be big supporters of free markets and capitalism.
There are vast numbers of shills on FreeRepublic who still believe that CDO's, CDS's, and MBS's are good because they were crafted by people who wrap themselves in the pages of Smith's "The Wealth of Nations".
The government failed to enforce their own regulations allowing 100's of billions to be misspent. Then the Masters of the Universe created speculative financial instruments creating nearly 100 trillon worth of liabilities that we need to reabsorb.
The government is feeding our tax dollars drip-by-drip into a dying patient.
We need to pull the plug, let the scumbags die, and allow the true capitalists to once again rise to prominence.
Of course none of that will happen, but it would at least be helpful if all so-called conservatives could agree that what happened was not some global conspiracy, or purely the work of liberal democrats and a supposedly Marxist Muslim named Obama.

Yes, I did read those.
I’m aware of Cloward-Piven. Just because the theory is there doesn’t mean it will work in practice in the U.S. circa 2008.
I prefer to be an optimist. I don’t discount the pessimistic point of view, but I choose to be an optimist.
bump
We are in the grips of an ongoing 'coup' whereby every Financial institution; our Economic MO; our 'citizen MO/our Constitution is being challenged and readied for a 're-shaping' and a re-making. We are being re-classified as 'pawns and serfs'; and do not believe the timing here, by which this 'idea' exploded just weeks before Election was in any way 'accidental'.
Have believed all along, those who needed 'CHANGE' would bring America to it's knees to accomplish their goals. And I believe they did. . .and they continue as we speak.
Now. . .to read this perspective. . .
(Think Soros abandoned Hillary; as he did not think she could win; and turned instead to Obama; who was already in the political chute. But it is a 'win/win; as Soros or 'rather' Obama. . .has refashioned a Clinton regime; or at least with Clinton people 'of the kind' Obama can trust to compromise any principle they are challenged with. Works for Soros, for sure. . .coincidentally, of course - as does a good 'Treasury man'. . .For sure, even Soros needs a 'few good men' and so there is some favorable wisdom here, so far.)
Of couse, my 'humble opinion' is just that; and I would like to be wrong; all wrong and well may be!
I thought so too, until someone just sent me this rather long but in depth piece on Maurice Strong from Fox, dated last year.
