On April 7, 1964, a 26-year-old detective in the New Orleans Police Department skipped up the steps into the Old Civil Courts building in New Orleans and presented himself to the Warren Commission investigating the assassination of President Kennedy.
Id always known my father had been acquainted with Oswald. They had not only grown up half a block away from each other, but had shared homerooms at school. Sitting alphabetically, my old man Fred sat in front of Oswald for years. OSullivan next to Oswald.
Sifting through my Dads papers I came upon a letter from Jacqueline Kennedy thanking my father for appearing before the commission. It wasnt something he spoke of often just a tidbit of information in a life that went on to greater adventures. ...

"Arieh, this JFK stuff is nice and all that, but maybe you have your own story to tell -- deep down inside ..."
When I close my eyes I can just make out my old man as a young cop. His hair cut in the traditional flat top. His soul still Irish Catholic before we threw away our Christmas tree, lit the big brass menorah, and took off for Zion.
"... yep, that would be it."

You seem to think that strong adjectives and silly words are a substitute for reasoning. Sorry, but they are not. Until you learn how to make sense, please quit wasting my time.
You point about Deep Purple has me perplexed. Can that be translated to English?

After familiarization with live ammunition in the .22 rifle and .22 pistol, Oswald, like all Marine recruits, received training on the rifle range at distances up to 500 yards, firing 50 rounds each day for five days.776 Training might have changed somewhat over the years but familiarization with a .22 caliber pistol, or otherwise, certainly wasn't part of our training. You can stick the Warren report buddy ... I'm going with what I was told at the time.

My Dad and others in my family provided security for Kennedy, and several other Presidents, including dozens of international, local and national dignitaries.
I could post images if anyone really cares.

“I dont look at this through a political lense, I look at it through a logical, rational, scientifically provable most likely scenario.”
Yet you ignore conclusive scientific evidence. You would have fit in well with the OJ jury.
You either didn’t read or didn’t understand what I wrote about Oswald. Sorry, but I don’t have time to rewrite it.

This is crap!
Yes, Oswald fired a shot, but didn’t hit JFK; he hit Connoly. JFK was taken out by the pros, who were not taking any chances. Oswald was there to take the rap. Ruby was the silencer.

Maybe Oswald shot Kennedy by himself but how did he know the route of the president’s motorcade the day before? He took his rifle to work that morning. I think he shot JFK but I think he had inside information from people who had much to gain from JFK’s death. Or
He could have read it in the newspaper the day before.

LBJ was in the chain of command, but he was not the brains of the operation. International bankers took JFK out, because of his tax policies, and his support of hard currency.

Oswald couldn’t have fired the shot that killed JFK; it came from the opposite direction.

I'm going with what I (heard from some guy)Actually I heard it from several sources ... remember, we're not talking decades after the fact ... we're talking very close to real time.

Penn and Teller trashed the Boy Scouts? They should be ashamed.
Yes, most disgusting of all was the intro to the program showing a teenaged Penn Jillette in his BSA uniform bragging about his scouting experience. Then he goes into a program-long rant of calling the BSA a hate organization that he wants to "f--- in the neck."
That was my last Bullsh!t viewing.

If you would bother to read instead of just shooting your mouth off you would know that the bullet deflected off of the window frame.
The problem is you really don’t know a lot about the JFK killing, you, like most others can only parrot conspiracy crap that has been debunked many times.
I didn't say I knew anything about the killing. I was just putting forth my own observation of the headshot (according to the Zapruder film).
Now, what window frame are you talking about?

Hey Bob,
Have you noticed that (after a year or more of lurking) I joined Free Republic on 11-7-2000? It was an arbitrary date I’m sure, I just eventually had something to say. I see you joined almost a month to the day later on 12-5-2000, I would assume for the same reasons, since you could read topics without joining. But then just five days after you joined RussP signed up! Coincidence or conspiracy? Hmmmmmm?
People can turn anything into a conspiracy if they are paranoid enough.

Well, you know the Warren investigators came up with Oswald’s entire service jacket. Why even debate this point?

Read your own site and figure it out. You express opinions as facts.
