Oh, the Lord is SO GOOD. I bet Hannity’s show’s ratings will skyrocket. It was so hard to mute Alan EVERY time he spoke. A very demanding chore if I wanted to watch H&C.

Yes, and at least Kirsten does not state outright lies to defend her arguements and has my respect.

This is a good time to replace Colmes with a conservative. Then they can let the liberal guests do the defending.

"Im proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years." Typical liberal mindset.
Afraid of anyone who doesn't share their viewpoint and sees them as a threat. This explains the vitriolic hatred spewed by the left. Demonizing perceived threats in order to justify excessive responses that are otherwise unsubstantiated.
Must be some kind of mental illness...

Hey Alan.
Don’t go away mad, just go away.
I guess he’s had his fun attacking the administration all these years. Now that he would have to play “defense” for Obama-Pelosi, he wants to change the game taking his ball and going to play someplace else.

Colmes is leaving? Now Hannity won’t have anyone to interrupt.
To: DCBryan1
Colmes is the reason the mute button was invented.
So long, Skeletor!

Maybe another liberal like John McCain can replace him.

I didn’t like Colmes, but now that he’s gone where are they going to find someone dumb enough to make Hannity look good.

I have to say, I've never thought Alan Colmes was near as far left as he portrays, I believe he was just a radical "foil", to Hanity's "conservative" views, reading Dem talking points.
Hell I'd like to drink a beer with the guy to find out what he really believes.

I liked Alan.He had his little list of talking points and would rush to say most of the list before he could be interrupted. My favorite was was after Sarah spoke at the convention and Dick Morris was saying Wow and Alan whipped out his talking points and Dick got so mad.

By all accounts Colmes is one of the nicest guys in the business, but he’s completely out of his league on that show. That’s saying something, considering that Hannity isn’t exactly an intellectual heavyweight himself. That show has just been too painful to watch in recent years.
They need someone who can actually put forth a thoughtful and consistent defense of the liberal philosophy, rather than simply ape DNC talking points without any logic or facts to back it up. Yes, I know, it’s a tall order when it comes to liberalism, but it can be done.
I have to disagree with one of the other posters who didn’t want Beckel; I actually think he’d be halfway decent. The guy actually seems to think for himself.

I used to watch H&C regularly, but haven't been able to bear it for the past few years.
In the early days, I used to email Alan, and he would reply. It was great fun, he has a great sense of humor.
I never agreed with his opinions, but he was a nice guy. Too bad he never learned to read a teleprompter.
