Obama foreign policy can be summed up in one word: SURRENDER to our enemies and anyone who challenges the US and our right to self defense.

Makes you wonder whose side he is on, does't it?

What a Single Nuclear Warhead Could Do
Why the U.S. needs a space-based missile defense against an EMP attack.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122748923919852015.html

.....

But as terrible as that scenario sounds, there is one that is worse. Let us say the freighter ship launches a nuclear-armed Shahab-3 missile off the coast of the U.S. and the missile explodes 300 miles over Chicago. The nuclear detonation in space creates an electromagnetic pulse (EMP).

Gamma rays from the explosion, through the Compton Effect, generate three classes of disruptive electromagnetic pulses, which permanently destroy consumer electronics, the electronics in some automobiles and, most importantly, the hundreds of large transformers that distribute power throughout the U.S. All of our lights, refrigerators, water-pumping stations, TVs and radios stop running. We have no communication and no ability to provide food and water to 300 million Americans.

This is what is referred to as an EMP attack, and such an attack would effectively throw America back technologically into the early 19th century

On the positive side, we won’t have to worry about our industries and people causing global warming (sarc)

Europe is finally, *finally*, going to get what it deserves. I am sorry for all the decent folks who are going to suffer, but really, Europe has earned slavery. We shouldn’t stand in their way any longer. They hate GWB, and love Obama. Eat it, commies.

Last week, I heard a college professor go off on a tangent about this. He basically said missle defense is useless and stupid because it doesn’t work. Is that true?

Thank the 52% of the Electorate who allowed themselves to remain ignorant enough to swallow the Obama / Media Kool-Aid.

Add in a big dose of Bush Derangement Syndrome and a Republican Candidate that offered nothing to the masses and Voila, Barack Hussein Obama is running the Country.

And we wonder where Hitler came from. Geez...

flexible = “I can walk all over this guy”

Notice that he does NOT say that RUSSIA is flexible.... he’s not yielding one millimeter, he’s expecting Obambi to fold like a cheap suit.

Russian president sees Obama flexible on missile defense

In a related story, "German Fuhrer sees Chamberlain flexible on Czechoslovakia."

Russia wanted a complete abandonment of the US plans

This is so bizarre, why does Russia not want us to deploy a missile defense? Do they want unfettered ability to threaten the world with nuclear destruction? Why does Obama think allowing threatening nations to have a viable nuclear threat is a good thing?

Even if it doesn't work (it does), it worries the Russians enough to make it something worth pursuing.

It's like Obama didn't even live through the cold war, I remember the feeling of dread knowing that the Soviets could destroy us a thousand times over in minutes.

Why does Obama think this is a good way to live?
