Well we won't be buying overpriced items from Barney's "Hippie" edition catalog, it's the silliest thing I've ever seen. Outrageous prices for "hippe" styled items, with the "salve" to the conscience that they donated some money to some silly environmentalist cause. Common sense would dictate that you just don't buy the silly overpriced peace sign jewelry or ridiculously priced tie-dye tee shirt, and donate the money yourself to your church's food pantry, or another local charity, which helps actual people.

***Barney’s “Hippie” edition catalog***

Good grief! Why would anyone want anything “hippie?” It was ugly the first time, thirty-five years ago (I was in college then) and it’s ugly now! I am so sick of “my generation” foisting off re-treads onto the public today. I guess too much drug use has taken the “creative” out of “creativity.”

I’m presuming that “hippie” fashions are to get us back to the era of “peace and love” when the SDS and Weather Underground were bombing buildings and fomenting general anarchy. Now that Bill Ayers’ buddy 0 is headed for the White House, it’s deja vu all over again!
