I just spent several hundred dollars on work clothes for my new job - that’s a Christmas present to myself. I’ll be giving money or gift certificates to my family and their kids - it’s so much easier than actual gifts.
Give the universal gift card ... Money ... maybe gift cards seem a little more elegant (hah) but money is always welcome, you can use it anywhere and you don’t have to worry about going out and spending gift cards, store closings, nothing.
