Because they are still too elated about their successful coup. It will happen. These people always eat each other eventually. It's called purging. Unfortunately, it's usually after they wipe out the opposition.
France is furthe down the Socialist road than us. The turmoil is that they know that they can’t keep promising freebies to everyone since it is destroying their economy. Hence, the far left is going for economic collapse and rebuild as full-fledged Communism/Totalitarianism. The moderates want to put back some free market ideas.
A total mess, just like our Left.
