I remember when the Weather Channel decided to emphasize Global Warming, not too long ago.
Now it seems they have realized that people want to know how cold it will be tomorrow, or whether it will rain, rather than be filled with guilt every day about their carbon emissions.

axing the entire staff of the "Forecast Earth" environmental program during the middle of NBC's "Green Week," It's like an O. Henry story.

Hah! The greenie tv bimbos and empty suits lost their jobs! Hey, they can get other “green” jobs; maybe like sorting some cans & bottles at a recycling center!

At NBC, ‘going green’ really does mean going cheap.

The weather is what climate change is about. the weather changes every day.
Its so silly. they don’t say global warming. its climate change...weather.
I guess their hurricane ratings were down.

I think at NBC “going green” means “we are watching all our green go...”

Sounds like someone at NBC (they're still around? who knew?) quit drinking cool-aid, and smelled the coffee.
That doesn't mean I'm going to go out an buy a TV....

I used to really like the Weather Channel, especially when there was a severe weather event somewhere in the nation. I don’t just mean tornadoes or floods, but just a solid squall or a heavy snowstorm. It served to remind me of life in other parts of the USA away from the mild climate here in California.
I haven’t watched the Weather Channel since they became the Global Warming Channel. I flip over to it for tomorrows rain forecast and highs and lows. Ever since they have been actively courting ratings, I quit watching. Back when they just reported the weather, I watched them all the time. Idiots.

OK, someone please tell me, How in the hell does Weather Change History?
Weather events are now, history was then...Am I wrong?
How does and current event change history?

Amen. Amen. Amen.
I’ll miss Dave Schwartz but am glad to see Cullen get the boot.
Now, maybe TWC will re-focus on their core business and again present the weather. Seems like every time I’ve needed to see what the weather was going to be lately, I’ve gotten nothing but documentaries of weather events from 40 years ago or mindless pap from the leftist, green folks. Mercifully, some of these pinheads will be gone.

My question is, weather makes history,
how does weather change history?
Maybe it alters patterns, like we are
seeing now, with the cooler temps. Thats
not changing history, its making history.
