Governors actually work. Senators just run their mouths.
Agreed,,, more than a senator, BY FAR. Gov’s have some very busy times,,,but there are MANY other times,,for weeks and months, that are rather mundane and ceremonial.
We build them all, statehouses and DC, into something they really aren’t. The politicians also perpetuate this “working hard for you” myth. And they have their photogs pose them at their desks for those rolled up sleeves photos.
Senators also pass the buck and can spin their votes to whomever the audience is at the moment.
