agree. Hope Sarah says NO to each of the lib propaganda artists....especially Oprah. Appearing on their shows will do nothing for Sarah.

“Maybe she should issue a press release stating she will go on OPRAH when the glaciers in Alaska are finished melting.”

ROFL! Amen, weston!

What is the worst thing that can happen? They actually start to like her??

Here's the deal - Oprah could have booked Palin during the campaign but wanted to make sure her sweet Obama was in the WH first. She didn't lift a finger to get Palin on her show despite her staff's objections.

The media is trying to destroy Palin by getting her overexposed and putting her in the limelight. It's the same thing they did to Monica Lewinsky - everybody and their Momma talked about the Lewinsky scandal for days on end until people got tired of hearing about it and it went away. Those of you egging Palin to appear on these shows don't get it - Palin has nothing to gain, she already appeared on SNL.

Palin will look like a publicity hound if she starts making the talk show circuit. If she wants to be a viable candidate in 2012, she needs to be very careful where she shows herself in public. She needs to focus on being Governor, making policy speeches at energy seminars, or universities. No glamor stuff. She needs to get and stay serious.

You couldn't be more wrong. Palin needs to do venues where politics is not upper most. Show her personality, how open and honest she is. This woman is blessed with a personality few ever have. She should get out and show it. The American public will become comfortable with who she is. They won't be paying attention to presidential politics for several years now. Palin can work inside the GOP to position herself, but outside, her job is to make middle America comfortable with who she is.

The one exception is Oprah. She should not do Oprah because of the power dynamics. If she says yes to Oprah, Oprah retains the upper hand. Say no, not publicly, but behind the scenes and Palin gains the upper hand on Oprah.

“Oh I see your from Alaska. Better make sure your annual check from the government is in your mailbox. Wouldn’t want you to miss out on you government bennies.”

You might want to read up on how and why the Permanent Fund was set up, needsanap. You have a problem with Alaska and our freedoms and benefits? Doesn’t bother me a bit. Like I said (to the griz), “bite me”.

She should politely decline Oprah and Letterman.

Politely? Hell I wouldn't even respond to inquiries. I'd flat-out ignore these requests if I was Palin.

Oprah wants her, and so do Letterman and Leno

Desperate moves by nobodies? (*I* don't watch them, and don't know of anyone who does...)

...she was nowhere nohow suited or qualified for VP.

A sitting governor of a US state, with the highest approval rating among the 50 state governors is not qualified to hold the job of VP???

What - are you are smoking the same stuff as the Obamabots, or did you miss the entire election?

Sarah Palin was MORE qualified for President, than either John McCain, or Barack Obama!

good grief....

I hate to say it, but if Governor Palin deigns to grace the big “O”af’s couch, I’ll lose a lot of respect for her.

oafra needs to be given the same attention you would a dog humping your leg. A stern “No! Down!” and a swat on the nose with a newspaper.

“At least I work an honest days wage.”

Something we can agree one. We, Alaskans, work an honest days wage too. Seems to me you have a chip on your shoulder.

Agreed,,, more than a senator, BY FAR. Gov’s have some very busy times,,,but there are MANY other times,,for weeks and months, that are rather mundane and ceremonial.

We build them all, statehouses and DC, into something they really aren’t. The politicians also perpetuate this “working hard for you” myth. And they have their photogs pose them at their desks for those rolled up sleeves photos.

“You sound clueless about the problems that Alaskans face. You need to get out of California and see the rest of the US once in a while.”

I agree with you, Kirkwood, about the “clueless” part. But please don’t encourage idiots to venture outside of California...and especially not to Alaska. ;)
