I hate to see a good dog die.
Their lives are so short and they give themselves completely.
Rest peacefully, Faithful Servant.

Thank you for posting that.
I have been blessed with many great dogs in my life, mostly Dobermans. I now have a 5 1/2 month old German line GSD. I have never met, nor had the pleasure of being in the presence of such loving greatness.
Although he’s still a pup, he’s quickly become my guardian angel, fishing partner and best friend. I look forward in growing old with this magnificent creature. Few things would tear my heart out more than to ever lose this guy.
At the risk of sounding overly melodramatic, every day I have been with Falco has been a little piece of heaven..... well, that is after I finally got him to understand that those boots on the floor are mine and not his crew toy, or girlfriend. ;>)
RIP Britt....

So, why couldn’t they let him die his own death?
