I vote for a Conservative Party. The name says what it stands for. There would be no mistaking the message, and it would be easier to keep the platform simple. I’m in favor of ditching the Republican party altogether. It has proven that it is nothing more than “Democrat-Lite,” and it fills the vacuum left by the formerly Democrat party, now known as the Socialists.

Be careful what you wish for: “The Conservative Party” of New York state has turned into a patronage machine whereby Mike Long (yes, I will name names) shakes down GOP and Dem politicians for favors in exchange for “votes” on the Conservative line. Thanks to the “Conservative Party”, NY got RINO Pataki and Staten Island/SW Brooklyn is not represented by a Democrat for the first time since the 1980s in congress.
