Sarah is NOT crushed.
Attempted muggings by the fearful left press are hillarious, and note how they are tanking in viewership and readereship.
America knows and loves Sarah Palin. And that will never change.

That is a good point. The left has a death grip on almost every storyline. They control the narrative all the time. They play duck and cover for the left while shredding the GOP for doing the same or less than the lefty counterparts.
Until we can get the media to report the facts of a story and not opinion, or hit pieces we will always be behind.
To: PetroniusMaximus
Breaking the media’s grip? Fund the arts and literature.
Fat chance, I know, fat chance.
To: PetroniusMaximus
"Not until we figure out a way to break the Medias deathgrip on our culture can we expect to take back the country." That is the problem. However they are rapidly loosing market share. Pray they go bankrupt before it is too late.

“I really doubt that it is only her anti- abortion stance that they fear. In my opinion they fear her because she has connected with conservative Americans better than any other politician. She has awakened the sleeping giant whom they fear.”

In the olden days of the 1950s women were considered the backbone of the family, Sarah Palin is in that tradition. Todd Palin has to be a real man to live up to the woman he married. Liberals are very threatened by this sort of thing, a fish and a bicycle make a team that strikes fear into their hearts.

"It also looks like they are going to try to promote Romney to the republicans for the next 4 years. "
Yeah, the libs and the MSM gave us McCain't too...so we wary of those bearing "gifts" to the conservatives as they DO NOT have our best interest at heart.
Sarah is receiving the same treatment from the left as they give to the "rich", or the "white", or the "southerner", or any of the other categories that are against liberal policies.
Liberalism is a mental disease.

They are gonna do to her what they did to Dan Quayle. Shell never be taken seriously by the sheeple when they get through with her. Damn shame. She's made it clear that she is willing to get in their face and fight this. The question is do her supporters (we conservatives) have the stomach to stand with her. There's a lot riding on the answer to that question.

They are desperate to stop her and Hillary as SOS is all about resuscitating Hillary so she and not Sarah Palin can be the first woman POTUS.
To: rhema
The author of the article is spot on: Sarah Palin is viciously vilified because of her staunch pro-life stance. The left can forgive her folksy diction; it can grant absolution for her criticism of big government; it can even ignore her strong support of the Second Amendment and the right of individual Americans to keep and bear arms. But it can NEVER grant her peace for her being pro-life. For that, the left must destroy her, for she represents everything that challenges the left’s secular sacrament of abortion.

Still waiting for McCain to stand up and defend his former running mate. It’s been three weeks since his staff went nuclear on Palin. All we have from McCain is a lame attempt at deflection on Leno. Since then he’s relapsed into his normal routine of playing liberal reach around games with Obama & Co. on a daily basis.

Hillary will go nowhere now. 2012 Obama with certainty will be running again. Hillary will be irrelevant 2016. The State Department is her retirement.

I think the people will have more say next election than the MSM. Just boycott their news and the sponsors of their news. The MSM is in trouble. Ratings are low (really?) wonder why? They can be replaced as the leading source of political disinformation, with no BS, not politically correct and straight forward news broadcasts of the future.
Internet. Podcasts. Satellite radio. Screw the censorship doctrine.

As much as I respect Sarah Palin it isn’t just up to her. It is up to all of us. Tighten your belt, bite down hard and never give up.

Last night Greta Van Susteren had a segement about Sarah bashing by David Letterman (two nights in a row). She showed a clip and then asked that everyone send Letterman a message on the her Blog "Gretawire".
Here is a link the the story (fifth item down the page):

It is high time that ALL Republicans close rank and resolve not to openly criticize ANY other conservative or Republican. I understand that not all conservatives are Republicans, but we must watch the back of everyone in our fold. The wolves are picking off the lambs, one by one. Never buy into the premise of an attack veiled as a question, for example, “Why do you excuse Sarah Palin’s daughter having premarital sex, and decry Britney Spears?” Answer: why do you think that I am making excuses, what is it about premarital sex that you like?”
Always return the question to the questioner.
