Yep. Missouri.
I follow the good conservatives running in races outside my state though.

Wow, only 1800 votes ahead after all that exposure running for Gov and Lt. Gov.
He really has troubles getting elected anywhere.
Surprising, isn’t it?

I'm curious what redistricting will do for this district...

there is no mathematical way Charlie Brown can overtake McClintocks leadHah! Just wait until the dems work their magic. McClintock will lose by 20,000 votes while they count the last ten ballots.

He had probably $10 million worth of negative ads ran against him by RINOs in the primary and by Brown in the general. Add in the fact that he was carpetbagging and it was a bad year for the GOP and it ended up very close. I honestly don’t think this district will be close again. Tom should win re-election here comfortably.
To: St. Louis Conservative
Perhaps after redistricting it will be easier?

Yep but it’s technically not over. So we’re still keeping an eye on everything. I’m even going into the El Dorado County registrar to watch their count tomorrow (Saturday). I’m really getting sick of that building.
I should probably point out now that kudos also need to go to Sierra Wasp and Mrs. Wasp who pitched and helped round up volunteers the past few weeks.

Redistricting is designed to weaken conservative districts. It won't make it easier--but he'll still win.

NO, He had a very ugly primary with a crooked real smear merchant.
Then the Dem had a huge AD campaign from MOveon.org that tried to disguise the Lefty as a conservative.

It depends. Sometimes redistricting actually strengthens a conservative district, because their major concern is to strengthen neighboring liberal districts. But I don’t know what the situation is in that part of California, or what the Democrats’ plans might be—beyond maximizing their advantages and making their incumbents secure.

I think in California’s case we do. Our districts were gerrymandered to death. Any movement in a logical direction will benefit the Republicans.
I can’t wait.
