What kind of President will Obama be? We only have vague and conflicting impressions because his statements to date appear to be incoherent (at best) on a range of subjects. For example, he wants to eradicate al-Qaeda but run from Iraq. If we left Iraq and focused on the tribal regions of Pakistan, where does Obama think al-Qaeda might go for sanctuary? We really can’t afford to be playing whack-a-mole with terrorists.
The other incoherent thing he has been babbling on about is Global Warming, making apocalyptic claims that defy all reality:
The ’science is beyond dispute, and the facts are clear’. Yes the science is clear. We are in a serious global cooling phase which even scientist associated with the alarmist UN’s IPCC predict will last a decade or more. Yes, the data over the last decade have proven ALL of the IPCC climate models and predictions wrong. Science demands accuracy in its theories. When they are wrong there is no salvaging them or twisting them, they get thrown out. Science is showing there is no CO2 based, man-made CO2 and that is hard data.
But the sea levels are rising (on TV, not in the real world) storms are getting stronger (but they aren’t since the last two hurricane seasons are at a decades low intensity) and there is increased famine.
Well …. science shows that warmer global temperatures reduce famine .......

During Obama’s 60 Minute interview, he got very specific on one topic.
Something he had obviously spent a lot of time pondering and researching.
Keeping America safe ?
Reviving the economy ?
Preventing Iran from getting a nuke ?
Nah-Obama went into great detail about his plan for a college playoff system.

Let me add here that I gave the TV program “Boston Legal” one more shot this week and am now POSITIVE that I’ll never watch it — or anything else with which David E. Kelley is connected. While it did have occasional lapses into common sense (although probably intended by the writers to be a slam at the Second Amendment, the Shatner hold-up sequence may have been one of them), it is nothing more than socialist propaganda masquerading as entertainment.
Under the heading “Would that mine enemy had written a book,” I MAY check in periodically just to see how much further they can slide. But NOT around mealtimes.
Most of the regular characters share at least one trait with their hero, Barack Obama: His malignant narcissism. While it may be amusing in them, it is a very dangerous characteristic in a president, as time shall surely reveal.
In the last episode, Shore admitted that only 40% of voters in this country know that we have 3 branches of government and probably fewer than that know anything of the issues or candidates’ backgrounds.
At the end of the show, Shore and Shirley disclose how emotional they were the night Obama was elected while blissfully disregarding the level of ignorance of the voters with whom they allied their super intelligent and sophisticated selves to put him in office.
There IS an interesting – and distressing – correlation here: I had a number of problems with McCain but they pale compared to those I have with B.O. It appears that the ignorant and clueless 60% voted for B.O.
THAT ignorance level was transcended only by their own, that of the idiots who produce this crap — and those who partake of it.
