Whoever had the brilliant idea to make Capricia Marshall a guest on MSNBC's "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" last night was probably hiding from host David Gregory when the show ended. Marshall turned out to be the least forthcoming guest I have ever seen on a political talk show. The aide to Hillary Clinton put up smiling stonewall that would make G. Gordon Liddy—who chose a stiff prison sentence over Watergate stool-pigeonhood—proud.
Marshall is the director of Hillary Clinton's political action committee, Hillpac, and former social secretary in the Clinton White House. Gregory had her on in the clear expectation that she would dish on Hillary's prospective appointment as Secretary of State. But Capricia was tighter than the proverbial clam. Try as Gregory might, Marshall wouldn't give up the smallest shadow of a hint of a scrap of a tidbit about anything of interest. Her big revelation? She's excited about the inauguration. Chris Matthews and his wife are at the next table. He starts yelling at his waitress because the pizza is taking so long. And I'm not talking 'hey, where are the pizzas.' I mean, berating her. He even went so far as to call her a liar. Keep in mind this was after the poor girl, who was no more than 18 years old, told him she would box his pizzas and he could have them for free. Did he thank her for her offer? No. Instead he stands up and starts yelling and wildly gestulating. Over a frigging pizza.
He had to a foot taller than this girl, but he was in her face pointing and yelling like she was a guest on Hardball and she was embroiled in the lastest political scandal. He then stormed out, leaving his mortified wife to hash out the situation.
And they're absolutely right. They're all a pack of GD dogs!

Anyway, the flight was late, we were getting the typical airline BS runaround, and finally Vincent Price got pissed and boomed a vicious tirade at the airline person.
Wow. what a voice!
After he was through the terminal erupted in applause.
Why is it these people always seem to be from the area around New Jersey and New York?
I witnessed a couple from New Jersey, visiting the Oregon Coast, berate a cashier in a store because the $2.95 towels were, well, cheaply made. Duh! That poor young woman ended up in tears, those two old people were so mean.
“These arseholes think they’re gods” is spon on, but I just can’t see Rather or Brokaw behaving that way. They originated from Texas and Nebraska respectively.
What a hoot that site is ... no real surprises. Matthews and Gregory are so much better than the rest of us.
One reason I just hate DC. People like that, Hill staffers .. there’s just hardly anyone in Washington who doesn’t think he or she is just so terribly important.
