Congratulations, tolerance mau-mauers: Your shakedown of a Christian-targeted dating website worked. Homosexuals will no longer be denied the inalienable "right" to hook up with same-sex partners on eHarmony. What a landmark triumph for social progress, eh?
New Jersey plaintiff Eric McKinley can now crown himself the new Rosa Parks -- heroically breaking down inhumane barriers to Internet matchmaking by forcing a law-abiding private company to provide services it was never created to provide. "Men seeking men" has now been enshrined with "I have a dream" as a civil rights rallying cry of the 21st century. Bully for you, Mr. McKinley. You bully.
Neil Warren, eHarmony's founder, is a gentle, grandfatherly businessman who launched his popular dating site to support heterosexual marriage. A "Focus on the Family" author with a divinity degree, Warren encourages healthy, lasting unions between men and women of all faiths, mixed faiths or no faith at all.
Don't like what eHarmony sells? Go somewhere else. There are thousands upon thousands of dating sites on the Internet that cater to gays, lesbians, Jews, Muslims, Trekkies, runners, you name it.

Perhaps heterosexual men and women should start filing lawsuits against gay dating websites and undermine their businesses.
That's a thought.
Perhaps eHarmony should have withdrawn their services from NJ residents rather than serve this sodomizer.
“Don’t like what eHarmony sells? Go somewhere else”.
...that’s the way life in America USED to be. This sets a precedence that will worm it’s way into more “privately” run business ONLY run by/for whites, christians and/or straight people. Private country clubs, private Catholic schools, Rotary clubs etc.
Why can’t they just leave heteros alone? There is a lot of rage in the gay psyche. I guess we need to elect a gay for president in order to quash the Jesse Jackson tactics of various gays.
How soon before they close down churches that do not perform gay "weddings"?
I think Mr. Neil Warren should shut down the website rather than cave to judicial extortion. And on the pink slips that he gives to the hundreds of people eHarmony employs, he can let them know why.
Of course, then he’d probably get sued for “fostering hate” or some other BS.
Quite correct.
Why don’t they just shut down? This is what I can’t understand. Why not do an Atlas Shrugged type move? Same with the auto companies. The big three should get together and just close down. Same with every company the government or any other group of deviants threaten.
Could you imagine if “Big Tobacco” did something like this about the time of the state lawsuits? Focus on one high-tax state and just stop selling product within the borders of that state. Watch as tax revenue dropped to nothing and show the hypocrisy of dependence and a state’s tax habit.
The Big Three's well thought out business models are in the process of putting your plan into action
Not to sound critical, but that was my thought as well. I’m not Neil Warren, but I would have to think long and hard about a reason not to just shut eHarmony down rather than to serve as a facilitator for this activity.
That is the plan.
That is why there is such a big stink about prop 8.
They want gay MARRIAGE not civil unions, because they want churches to be forced to accept, embrace, and perform gay marriages. THen there is no telling what else will be required of the churches if all that came to pass.
I shudder.
Write Eharmony. My letter:
Its too bad you caved in to the gay community in New Jersey. Its really all about the money now isnt it. Im happily married and dont use your site. But if I wasnt, I wouldnt use it and I certainly wouldnt recommend it to anyone. We only have a few chances in life to really take a stand for whats right and you blew it. This isnt about offering services to gays, its about freedom in a private business. Theres plenty of gay sites for them to go to. Youve done a disservice to the private business community in whats left of this country.
Heres to hoping the heterosexuals, which is almost all of your customers, go elsewhere.

Ps. Im quite sure Ill get a form letter in return or no response at all.
Too soon.
I don't know that they would try too "close down churches," but I certainly expect to see states where gay "marriage" is legal to start telling ministers that they no longer have authority to conduct marriages that are recognized by the state.
Then we become like other countries: to get a religious marriage, you need to see the civil authorities to be married civilly, then go to the church for the religious ceremony.
If I eharmony, I would immediately change the my name to Esodomy, make it a separate site. That would be justice.
Tolerence perceived ??
My Grandson had a band around his head and a school chum asked what’s up ? with the band.
My Grandson kiddingly replied by asking, if it made him appear Gay?
A self described Homosexual heard him and took him to the principal to accuse my grandson of Slander.
The idiot Principal backed up the teacher and chided my grandson.
The comment, by my grandson was in a private conversation and in no way addressed the Homosexual teacher, this same tells of all his male boyfriends is his life to these kids during his classes.
