It might be his real or birth name, but one of his adopted names was definitely "Barry Soetoro", but if so the vault/long form version of his Certificate of Birth should reflect that. It should also reflect which hospital he was born in, as well as what city. The doctor or nurse who delivered him should also be on the BC, with his signature.

There’s some dispute about that. I’ve heard it said that if Obama were to be disqualified BEFORE the electors meet in December, then votes may only be case for candidates who were on the ballot for PRESIDENT. Biden was not running for President, ergo he may not receive any electoral votes. That would likely mean that McCain would be your President.
If the Electors have already voted & Obama is then disqualified there has to be a new election. GWB continues in office until the re-do is over.
If after Obama is inagurated, THEN it would be Biden.
If they do there won’t be an election in 2012. Maybe the Mayans had something after all...
No it was a Certification of Live Birth. Essentially it's a partial data dump from the State's birth records. Pre-computer it was an extract of the information from the microfiche copy of the Certificate of birth.
But one of the key points is that it was only provided to "friendly" groups. A low res scanned image on the internet does not count as "providing" it to neutral or even hostile groups.
It should have been provided to each states election officials and it should be provided to the Federal Election commission, and to the President of the Senate (currently Dick Cheny) who is to open the electoral vote reports before the House and Senate.
Yes. The consitutional requirements for VP are the same as they would be for President.
I think I did see it explained in such a way we could have a President and Vice President from different parties.
