You have a strange recollection. A liberal judge ordered that district to be more Democrat after we drew the lines to protect Bonilla.

See post #35. Bonilla lost to a moonbat democrat former congressman (who lost a renomination in a neighboring district) because a pinko judge decreed a leftist chunck of San Antonio had to be stuck in the district.
