Islam was essentially an Arab superiority cult. Its peculiar blending of a syncretist “religious” vision, military aggression and a harsh system of governance for its conquered people had the purpose of extending tribal Arab control throughout parts of the world where a power vacuum existed as a result of the fall of the Roman Empire and the weakening of the Church after the Arian and other heresies. Islam has always been all about Arab superiority.

This is a subject I don’t know alot about. BUt I did work with many many people from many many places around the world when I was a research tech for a university. It seemed they all were very suspicious of eachother. Well, the hindu indians and the south east asian buddists tended to get along pretty well. But both of them were scared to death of muslims. THe eastern varieties of christians(greek, copt, armenian, ethiopian, etc) were very cautious around anyone not like themselves and tended to be either excruciatingly religious or wild crazy party animals.

With the exception of arabs, the arabs didn’t like anyone that wasn’t a native english speaker. If english was your native language AND you were italian or part italian, you were elevated above all other non-arabs. If you were british, you also were elevated above the non-arabs but maybe not as much as the italian americans. BUt not if you had natural red hair. THey found red hair and freckles to be like a horrific birth defect in desperate need of a remedy. Actually, that reaction seemed to be universal to all ethnicities except among northern europeans.
