I don’t agree with a bailout but I don’t begrudge this guy’s benefits. The auto makers could have told the UAW to pound sand but they agreed to this guy’s union demands.

They are reaping what they sowed...screw them all.

And to go further than that, (and he alluded to it in mentioning that people conversely always boast about how much they paid for their houses,) it always goes back to a person's propensity to appear intelligent.

I agree...but was this guy complaining? I forget now. So, what can the auto makers do now? Can they rescind these large pensions and health insurance? What a mess....I used to know a guy who worked at Chevy years ago-—3rd shift...and he told me how they smoke pot and have hookers come in...and that is when I stopped buying American cars. I’m on my 3rd Mazda. I’m more ticked off at them today than I was back then!! I will never buy anAmerican car.
